A test chamber with degrading materials on automotive emissions is developed to test the degradation efficiency of automotive emission factors with four different contents: 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% of nano titanium dioxide photocatalytic materials made by dispersed mechanism methods, which are mixed round with high shear, ultrasonic wave and ultrasonic wave dispersant. The sample is the emission when the vehicle is on idle. The average degradation efficiency of different dispersed nano titanium dioxide materials on NOx, HC, and CO are calculated according to the equation of degradation efficiency. The experimental results show that the photocatalytic materials with four contents of nano titanium dioxide, made by different dispersed methods, have certain influence on NOx, HC, CO and the trends of the degradation are the same. Nano titanium dioxide made by ultrasonic dispersant has the best degradation efficiency on NOx of automotive emission. To the nano titanium dioxide made by high shear, ultrasonic wave and ultrasonic dispersant, the optimum content of nano titanium dioxide of degrading NOx, HC, CO on automotive emission is 5%, 3%, 2%; 5%, 3%, 4%; 5%, 2%, 3% respectively.
