Affected by COVID-19, great changes have taken place in China’s domestic air passenger travel and airline operation strategies. Based on the law of domestic airline ticket price formulation, this study collects data from 426 routes spanning 29 representative cities across China and analyzes the characteristics of domestic ticket prices under the influence of temporal factors, flight density, airlines, and epidemic situation. On this basis, we quantified the impact of COVID-19 and established a multiple linear regression model of the ticket pricing factors. The results show the general law of air ticket prices on Chinese routes during COVID-19.
