We construct a safety-oriented driving environment perception and reconstruction system based on multi-sensors and multi-signal processing technology. On one side, this system can automatically acquire and save vehicle dynamic state information, traffic environment information and driver behavior information simultaneously, which realize the perception of real-time driving environment. On the other side, with the data acquired, a real comprehensive driving environment can be reconstructed accurately. Experiments show this system is an important and powerful technical tool for researchers to analyze the driver behavior characteristics, the effect of interaction between driver-vehicle-environment on traffic safety, the reason for traffic accidents and other such kinds of problems related to traffic safety.
