This paper compares the travel carbon emissions of accelerated development of rail transit and constant development of rail transit. It also analyzes the carbon emissions of different land use patterns around urban rail stations. Different land use patterns can make great differences in greenhouse gas distribution and a variety of other exhaust pollution. The land development around the rail transit station should consider the important factor of low carbon emission.
