The Pan Boolean algebra is applied to traffic lights' controlling at the urban T-junctions. According to the characteristics of urban T-junctions and the controlling purposes of the traffic lights, this paper works out the conditions under different circumstances and the corresponding control rules. Finally, make use of the Pan Boolean algebra to simplify these rules and transfer them into the logic expressions (Li Bin, 2000). It provides the logic basis for the further simulation and design of the actual circuit.
