Under fog, as the visible distance of driver decrease, the driving safety on road decrease also. It is very important for ensuring the driving safety on road and taking effective measures to exactly distinguish the safety. This paper use transportation simulation technology to quantitatively describe the influence of the visible distance variables on the driving safety on road, and use equivalent least safety distance to evaluate the driving safety.
