With the continued development of accelerated urbanization and the rapid growth of urban population, public transport priority is not only an effective measure to ease urban traffic congestion, but also a requirement of improving the urban living environment and promoting sustainable urban development. How to increase the attractiveness and service level of public transport becomes an important issue. In this paper, an investigation is done to analyze the influencing factors of public transport attractiveness. A binary Logit model is established to evaluate the importance level of the factors affecting their public transport choice under conditions of different travel distances, which can provide basis for relevant government departments to enhance or improve the service quality of public transport. The results show that either the influence factors of trips with different distances (long distance, middle distance, and short distance) or the impact extent are not the same.
