In this paper, urban ecological quality is taken into account for the concordant developments between logistics and environment. Based on the model of ecological footprint analysis, this paper proposes a method to calculate standard ecological footprint equivalent coefficients and transportation distance equivalent coefficients for each kind of freight traffic modes. A combined optimization model has been developed which provides an optimization method for freight transport organization under various restrictions on urban resources and environmental capacity.
