In order to obtain the highest travel income from public transport under e limited public transport resources, a model is developed based on the non-cooperative game. The public transport and travel structure is the research object, and it divided the traveler from the travel distance to seek Nash equilibrium points to predict a reasonable proportion of conventional public transport and rail transit. According to the analysis of the actual situation in Taiyuan City, the results shows the best proportion of travel structure in Taiyuan is: 61.34% of medium- and short-distance travel residents choose the conventional bus, and 53.18% long-distance travel residents choose the conventional bus. The model constructed can analyze the Nash equilibrium points between conventional bus and subway travel, give a reasonable optimal public transport travel structure, and help the bus optimization to provide reference and recommendations.
