Static and moving loading tests were carried out respectively on an experimental pavement including LAM (Large-stone Asphalt Mixture) base in order to find out a proper stratum structure against rutting and reflection cracks under the traffic of heavy axle-load trucks. The test results and analysis were presented. It is found that an asphalt pavement including LAM base with proper thickness is helpful to overcome the said pavement damage.
