Bus lane with intermittent priority (BLIP) is an effective way to solve urban traffic problems. It requires social vehicles to leave their lanes and provide space for oncoming buses. The participation of drivers will have a decisive impact on the benefit of BLIP. This paper analyzes the impact on BLIP under different driver obedience level by cellular automaton model. In this paper, the evaluation metric mainly includes average bus traveling time, lane change behavior, and time-space distribution. Finally, simulation results show that there is a great relevance between driver obedience level and traffic capacity.
