To solve the problem of frequent traffic congestion caused by the increase of traffic demand, this paper proposes a road network traffic operation evaluation method based on big traffic data. Based on the regional road network big traffic data, this paper studies and analyzes the evaluation indices of the road network traffic operation state, such as the proportion of serious congestion mileage, travel time and delay time in the road network. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the traffic operation state of the road network from different angles. The evaluation method proposed in this paper can accurately reflect the traffic operation state of the regional road network, which can not only provide reference for the daily travel route of travelers, but also provide strong data support for the overall planning of the regional road network in the future.
