A driver anticipates the trajectory and speed of his driving behavior, and this is referred to as the driver expected trajectory and speed. A driver's expected trajectory and speed directs his or her specific driving behavior, and any anticipation error could possibly cause a traffic accident. A driver's anticipation comes from his or her driving experience and is restricted by objective conditions such as road environment, vehicle performance, etc. This paper analyzes the external constraint conditions from the aspects of roadway geometrics and vehicle handling, puts forward the constraint equation of the desired path, and the decision model for the desired speed respectively.
