Two years have past since the presentation at the APM 99 conference held in Copenhagen and the Project has come closer to opening for commercial service. This paper gives a short overall description of the Copenhagen Metro system and focuses on the experience gained from implementation on site and the process towards safety certification before going into revenue operation.
