According to actuality that softening process has no stable model and mode 1 fracture has been investigated rarely, this paper utilizes the smart properties of CFRC to attain initial load of three-point bending beam. Double-K criterion was imported to compute KICini and KICun, which can explain toughening effect of fiber effectually. Results suggest that the smart properties of CFRC can be used to research mode 1 fracture of three-point bending beam after analysis of relationships between fractional change in resistance and load, deflection and CMOD, which are accord with Lorentz fit. The curves of fractional change in resistance before maximum load can illustrate three stages such as elastic deformation, stable fracture and unstable fracture.
