In recent years, rapid progress has been made in the construction and application of highway intelligent traffic management systems. However, there is no uniform evaluation for the construction standard and application level of highway intelligent traffic management systems at present. First, considering existing research and practices, based on analyzing the components of highway intelligent traffic management systems, this paper puts forward the construction and application standards of every component. Second, according to the standard, it builds an evaluation system and divides different scores for the different levels. Then, using analytic hierarchy process, it defines the weight value of every component and gets the compressive evaluation. Finally, it summarizes the research results and points out the future research direction.
