In the presented paper the flow charts for Life cycle of main types of fuels/energy sources and cars is done. Respective mathematical models, taking into account the stages of material and cars production, exploitation and recycling are developed. Based on the energy production for 2015 and 2020 years and energy mix of European countries and Bulgaria, an assessment of the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of the cars is done. Life cycle assessment (LCA) of cars using gasoline, natural gas, hydrogen fuel cells etc. show advantages and disadvantages of different type of vehicles, during its entire Life cycle. Development in regarded 5 years is analyzed. Results show a decrease of the primary energy consumption and CO2 emissions for the period. The main cause is increase the part of renewable energy sources (RES) in the energy mix.
