In this work we considered usage of light sensor TCS34725 in motion control system of nanosatellite SamSat-Science, which is intended for determining the angle between sensor normal line and direction to the light emitter center. The method for calibration of light sensors was developed, set of experiments was performed, light sensor rated characteristic was verified, the dependency of mean squared deviation (MSD) of sensor values from luminous flux angle of incidence. Three layouts of light sensors position on sides of the nanosatellite were considered: on a plane, on square pyramid faces with tilt angle 45°, on square truncated pyramid faces with tilt angle 45°. We have chosen the layout providing measurements with minimum noise.
