A numerical study of the processes occurring in an injection well and rocks surrounding this well during injection of a heat-transfer agent into an oil-saturated reservoir, taking into account the possible thawing of permafrost, has been carried out. The results of numerical experiments to determine the mass content of steam in a two-phase mixture, and the heat-transfer agent temperature, as well as the thawed zone radius in permafrost at different thermal conductivity coefficients of the substance in the well annular space at the downward flow of a hot steam-water mixture in the well string, are presented.
