The paper studies the problems of implementing the norms of international humanitarian law (IHL) in space, taking into account the possible prospects for its military use. The assessments of modern military threats are given, the possibilities of using certain types of weapons, including cyber weapons, are assessed. Special attention is paid to the applicability of IHL in outer space (OS), the possibilities of legal regulation of armed conflicts of the future, and the sufficiency of existing international legal norms.
