The article discusses the development of promising methods of repair of main pipelines. The task is to develop an economically justified and effective repair method using composite materials. To determine the optimal structural composition of the repair unit from composite materials using the Solidworks software product, the study area on the main pipeline is modeled. Based on the results of the simulation, a dependence of the stress-strain state of the section on the number of layers of the composite material is obtained. Field experiments were carried out and comparative analysis of the results of experiments and simulations was carried out. Optimal structural design of the main pipeline repair assembly is obtained.
