Wind-tunnel data on the effect of small-scale stationary flow perturbation on laminar boundary-layer separation in the aft part of a body of revolution are presented. The experimental results obtained at low subsonic velocities through hot-wire measurements support an idea of controlling axisymmetric flow separation locally as it was found earlier in plane configurations on airfoils and wings.
