This document discusses the thermal oxidation stability factor of mineral engine oils at high temperatures. The determination of the coefficient of thermal oxidative stability is also considered. Based on the experiments, graphs of the dependence of evaporability on the time and temperature of evaporation of the 1800 С mineral engine oil, as well as a graph of the dependence of the coefficient of thermal oxidative stability on the coefficient of absorption of light flux and the temperature of testing the 1800 С of the mineral engine oil were built. Based on the obtained values, conclusions were drawn.
