Inertial navigation systems operating in the autonomous mode were studied. It was proposed to introduce correction using algorithms that employ only internal information of the system. Kalman filter is applied to the output signal when compensating errors with an autonomous inertial navigation system. Measurements for the Kalman filter are generated based on information obtained from the gyroscopes angle precession sensors. Inertial navigation system errors non-linear equations were used in generating the measurement signals.
