Improving the reliability of hydraulic dampers by the modernization of individual structural units during overhaul repairs will improve the dynamic properties and extend their useful life. In addition, the development of a new method for the dynamic calculation of disk-type hydraulic vibration dampers using new numerical technologies (based on the method of piecewise linear approximation) is relevant, since it will allow the most accurate assessment of their stress-strain state and resource during operation. A promising design of a hydraulic vibration damper for an electric train was proposed; the patent for the invention of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. IAP 05463 [1] was issued.
