GPS is one of the tools that can be used to measure latitude, longitude, and altitude. GPS also gives much information such as the total satellite which is connected with it; valid data and so on depending on the feature of it. There are many kinds of GPS products in the market with each accuracy; the expensive GPS that the accuracy is high and cheap so the accuracy is low. The onboard computer of LAPAN’s rocket is always included the GPS sensor to know the position when the rocket fly based on the latitude and longitude. But sometimes the data of GPS is lost due to the position of the GPS receiver in the rocket is only 1 position. Any idea to add multi-GPS on the onboard computer and process it by a multi-microcontroller which hope can process it at the same time. This process is more complex due to there are many microcontrollers. This paper proposes to process the multi-GPS with FPGA due to the FPGA can process the input data at the same time by a parallel mode. The experiment results show the timing of GPS can process the output data multi-GPS at the same time which data can be displayed at the same time and the data more accurate after the average process.
