The use of polymer composite materials (FRP - fiber reinforcement plastic) in suspension bridge superstructures requires a detailed consideration of design problems at the junction of materials science, structural mechanics and aerodynamics. The paper continues research the aerodynamic characteristics of the FPR pedestrian suspension bridge spans. The threshold character of the permeability influence of the superstructure beams walls on the flow pattern, the characteristics of the near-wake flow of the structure and its aerodynamic characteristics was found.
