Description The theme of this volume is the exploration of methods for effective use of radiant energy in space for terrestrial and space needs. Contributions have been drawn from papers presented at the Third NASA Conference on Radiation Energy Conversion held at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA, January 26-28, 1978. The papers constitute a timely examination of the feasibility of applying advanced space technology to the real and urgent problem of energy supply.
