The Research Data Repository of FID move is a digital long-term repository for open data from the field of transport and mobility research. All data sets stored in it can be viewed and downloaded without logging in. With a user account, you can store data in this repository. However, these datasets must be freely usable by all, i.e. they must be provided with an open licence, e.g. a Creative Commons License. All datasets in this repository are assigned a persistent DataCite DOI (Digital Object Identifier), with which the datasets can be easily cited and assigned to their authors.
User groups can join together in the repository in so-called "organisations", so that all the datasets of, for example, a working group, a project or an institute can be managed jointly and also searched for easily. If you would like to create such an organisation in the Research Data Repository, please contact us.
If you are not sure wheter you are allowed to publish your data with open licenses, then read the "Ethics and Consent" chapter in this manual. If you want to publish data that may not be made freely available to everyone, e.g. because it would violate personal rights, we will be happy to help you find a suitable repository.
If you have any questions about the publication of research data and the Research Data Repository, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can reach us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at +49 511 762-14140.
