This paper defines a new method of modeling the running line by describing a station with the station plan, which originally is just a point of the line. It analyzes the problems of using the original method to calculate the brake point. Then this paper provide an algorithm of forward prediction based on clock-step method to calculate the brake point, the result is proved more accurate and more feasible.
