Applications of all steel sandwich panels with corrugated cores as a longitudinal bulkhead and as a deck on a cruising ship are studied in the paper. The panels are produced by laser welding. Computer code developed to conduct spectral fatigue analysis for the ship girder is used to evaluate the fatigue life for the studied panels. The S-N curves needed in the analysis are obtained by fatigue testing of the most critical joints developed for the studied sandwich panels. Two panels are manufactured for the strength testing of longitudinal bulkhead panels enabling in testing of a total of 6 test pieces cut from these panels. The test series to study the fatigue characteristics of longitudinal joints on deck panels include in total 18 tests. The results of the strength tests are used to estimate the fatigue life of these panels when applied to a cruising ship built in the 80's.
