This paper presents a validation Protocol for the THUMS (Total Human Model for Safety) under PAM-CRASH Code, the translation details of the model from LS-Dyna code to PAMCRASH code, results up to date and future work will be presented as well. In this study 7 loading conditions for validation were simulated: Pendulum impact test (frontal, lateral and oblique anterior chest loading), diagonal belt loading, distributed belt loading, 3-point bending test (3PBT) on ribs and clavicle. The findings are general good in-corridor behaviour under the pendulum tests. The original stiffness response for the clavicle 3PBT dynamic test, 2-points-belt and distributed-load was found to be too high, then, in order to reach the biofidelity corridor changes were made on the original model. For the Ribs 3PBT loading conditions the stiffness response is under the biofidelity corridor. An ergonometric analysis was conducted as well in order to evaluate the angles of least discomfort related with the occupant-in-car positioning.
