Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, tasteless yet highly toxic gas produced from the partial combustion of carbon-containing compounds, notably in internal-combustion engines. In context of reducing the carbon monoxide in traffic environment, a new technology in traffic system has been designed. The digital traffic light is believed to reduce the carbon monoxide by shortening the waiting time. This paper presents a framework of designing and analyzing a traffic system to coordinate the traffic signal at the end of one-lane road to support the two-way traffic especially at narrow road. The coding is implemented using verilog description language and signal simulation is earned out using ModelSim Simulator.
