The cargo loading optimization problem of the aircraft under multiple constraints is studied in this paper, which is of great significance to aircraft safety as well as operational efficiency and profit. Firstly, a multi-objective mixed integer programming model is established to maximize the assembly loads and minimize the center of gravity deviation by considering the constraints of the cargo aircraft center of gravity, the cargo aircraft weight, the cargo hold structure, the isolation of dangerous goods, and the oversized cargo loading. Secondly, a new improved genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model, which adopts strategies such as elite preservation and exponential fitness function to speed up the convergence and guarantee stability. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out considering the Boeing 777 freighter. The results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model and method, and can provide a reference for future airline stowage work.
