This paper presents a system designed to anticipate the vacancy of seats on buses in real-time using ticket count data. The system uses data about the number of tickets sold to passengers and their destinations to estimate seat availability dynamically. This enables commuters waiting at bus stops to make correct decisions about the travel and provides transit authorities with real-time insights to adjust bus frequencies and routes based on demand. Our model enhances both the passenger experience and operational efficiency by optimizing bus movements based on crowd data.
