This paper presents the real-world experiments on the acoustic detection of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). To achieve the accurate detection of the small UAVs, a series of data processing steps including harmonics extraction, feature extraction, and support vector machine are carried out. After that, experimental results demonstrate that the small UAVs such as DJI Phantom 4 pro can be detected accurately by using acoustic sensors.
