Road accidents and congested roads are very common in the cities of highly populated developing countries like India. The goal of this project was to analyse and model a dilemma region that support better intersection efficiency and minimize right-angle crashes and rear-end collisions, these two main types of crashes are often affected by driver decisions whenever they are caught in their respective dilemma regions, where they often either choose to stop or go through the intersection. Drivers’ dilemma zones vary depending on the vehicles arriving speeds, travel time, distance to a stop line, perception reaction times, and vehicle deceleration rate, all of which are variables that can affect the dilemma zone. A binary logistic model has been developed. 15% of the derived data was used to verify the generated model, which indicates that the model's accuracy rate is 70.9 percent.
