The vehicle is a kind of transportation with high running speed, nowadays with the continuous improvement of modern manufacturing technology and road level, the high-speed performance of vehicles has been developed as never before. However, due to the continuous changes in road and traffic conditions, it is often necessary to change the driving speed and even stop instantly. This requires that the vehicle driving at any speed can reach the target speed or stop in the shortest time through longitudinal motion control, and maintain stability while not causing harm to the surrounding environment and the driver (Cui in Vehicle system dynamics and simulation, Peking University Press, Beijing, 2014). This mainly involves the dynamic characteristics of acceleration and deceleration, which correspond to the dynamic performance and braking performance of the vehicle respectively.
