Abstract It is difficult to demonstrate functions of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in the classroom – they are usually proprietary and too complex, expensive and non-repetitive. In the paper we describe some functions of the driver assistance systems and their operation. Then we show the possibility of their modeling using a mobile robot. We used the Acrob, Arduino compatible robot, as a model robot. All the experiments proved that it is feasible and beneficial approach applicable very well into the curricula.
