Results of 133 borings performed on Rockville Route from the Intersection of Yuma Street and Connecticut Avenue to Rockville, Maryland of the Washington Metropolitan Area Metro system are summarized in the report. It contains a continuous geological section along the proposed subway line, logs of the borings, results of laboratory tests on split-spoon and undisturbed samples and of unconfined compression tests performed on rock cores, conclusions regarding subsoil characteristics and the condition and attitude of the underlying bedrock.
