This document presents the final report on the development of a semi-empirical tire model which has the capability of simulating steady-state and transient traction forces and aligning moment in response to combined longitudinal and lateral wheel slip. The model recognizes the tire-road friction force as a function of local position and velocity of tread element sliding within the contact region. Examples of steady-state and transient response calculations are given. Pure-digital and analog-digital (hybrid) computer programs are included.
