This is Vol. 4 of a 9 volume study of approximately 200,000 drivers. The volume portrays the relationship between traffic conviction frequency and accident frequency over a three year period. The correlation between the two was .26, with high violation drivers having several times the accident likelihood and frequency of non-violators. The presence of accident-related citations was found to have only a slight inflationary effect on the correlations. (Author)
