In this paper, we discuss and analyze results from real-world vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) measurements in an IEEE 802.11p-based vehicular network. We compare measurements with different data rates and packet lengths and analyze their impact on system performance in terms of coverage range and throughput. Further we investigate influence of the driving direction on the system performance for different parameter settings and hardware components. Finally, we compare communication quality achievable with three different on-board unit antennas.
