This paper takes the existing racing car model as the research object, and on the premise of reading the relevant literature, carries out the relevant research work of aerodynamics. Firstly, the basic theory of automobile aerodynamics is introduced, and the influence of aerodynamics on automobile weight and handling stability is deeply studied. The 3D model of the front wing and rear wing of the racing car is established by software, the model is divided into grids, the numerical simulation analysis is carried out, and the aerodynamic performance is analyzed. Secondly, facing the problem of insufficient downforce, the negative lift coefficient of the car is increased by installing the front wing and the rear wing. On the basis of fully studying the basic parameters and aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil, Profili software is used to compare and analyze the characteristics of many common airfoil, and finally determine the front and rear airfoil. The results show that when the front and rear wings are installed, the negative lift coefficient of the vehicle is greatly increased, and the handling stability of the vehicle is improved.
