Composite polymers belong to a group of difficult-to-machine materials. After their fabrication and machining, these materials require removing sharp edges and improving their surface quality. Sharp edges and reduced surface quality – which reduced material performance – are usually created after removing the material from the mold and making holes. The aim of this study is to investigate the surface quality of polymer composites after rotary brushing. The study will thus make it possible to determine changes in the surface quality of fiber-reinforced plastics after rotary brushing. Glass fiber reinforced plastic and carbon fiber reinforced plastic surfaces subjected to rotary brushing show lower values of Ra and Rt with increasing cutting speed and at low feed rates. Increase in feed rate increases the roughness parameters Ra, Rt and Sa.
