With the continuous development of aviation technology and the substantial increase in the number of aircrafts, the difficulty of airspace management has gradually increased. The current airspace modeling method is relatively rough. The outline of the airspace is mainly described by the latitude and longitude coordinates of the boundary points, and there is no refined modeling of the interior. Based on GeoSOT Global Subdivision Model, this paper proposed an airspace grid modeling algorithm, which realized the expression of the internal and external integrity of airspace by using four- neighbor and six-neighbor grid models. The feasibility and effectiveness of the models are preliminarily verified by grid modeling experiments and visual expressions. This research realizes the discretization of continuous airspace in digital grid space, and provides a new solution for fine management and visual analysis of airspace.
