In order to further optimize the quadruped mechanical horse, the modular design scheme is adopted, and the leg module, trunk module, driver module and skeleton module are designed respectively. With reference to the bone size of Mongolian horse, through establishing 3D model by Solidworks. The leg module is based on Jansen multi-link as the main body, which designed a double spring shock absorption mechanism, through the graphical method to obtain the ideal size of the link. Based on the principle of prototype simplification, the simulation prototype of mechanical horse is built, and the rationality of the prototype design is analyzed by Adams. The rationality of the design of the mechanical horse is further illustrated by the movement curve of the foot and the walking condition of the simulated road surface.
