In this paper, aiming at the problem that the signal lamp mechanical scheme seriously obstructs the intersection traffic, the target detection model and target tracking model are established with the help of YOLO algorithm and IoU algorithm. According to the results of the model, the time period of traffic congestion is obtained, and a reasonable scheme is proposed to improve the congestion problem when vehicles pass the intersection, so that the intersection signal light is more intelligent.
