This study give a fixed-time sliding-mode fault-tolerant control (FTC) scheme for the fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with actuator faults to achieve precise attitude tracking. To get the accurate estimate information of the unknown item caused by actuator faults, a fixed-time (FT) disturbance observer is devised first. Then, a FT sliding-mode controller is proposed based on the estimated information. Next, by using the Lyapunov methods, the convergence within fixed time is proved. Finally, the efficacy of the developed strategy is proved according to the simulations.
