The most vital aspect of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is driver behavior. Edge devices communicate with their information using communication technologies it improves the efficiency of detecting abnormal driver behavior. The abnormal driver behavior is a major factor to changes the Vehicular Adhoc Network (VANET) mobility and topology. This paper has analyzed the impact of driver behavior in VANET communication. This paper analysis the various characteristics of VANET and how those VANET characteristics are affected with the abnormal driver behavior. Routing performance changes are demonstrated with Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing (GPSR) protocol based on normal and abnormal driver behavior. The simulation tools SUMO and NS3 have used to analyse the GPSR protocol based on the driver behavior.
